The paint should not have any effect on the dish so long as it is applied
with a smooth finish and does not start peeling. Just prep the surface well
so it does not peel. Like any other paint job, the prep is the most
important part of the job. Clean the surface carefully. If the surface is
already has old paint, either make sure the old paint is in good shape or it
may be advisable to lightly sand the surface first for good paint adhesion.
Also, a coat of primer followed by a top coat of exterior paint is a good
idea. On a fiberglass dish, any good housepaint should be fine if it the
prep work is done carefully. Behr brand seems to work well.

Will this work equally well on a fiberglass dish?
