This upcoming Wednesday evening (4-12), Sea Launch is schduled to launch 
JCSAT-9 communications satellite for JSAT Corporation on a Zenit-3SL 
rocket from the Odyssey Launch Platform positioned on the equator in the 
Pacific Ocean.

Launch window opens at 7:30 p.m. EDT. with a 34 minute window

Spacecraft separation around 1 hour and 3 minutes after lift off above 
the East Coast of Africa.

JCSAT-9 , is a A2100-AX model Lockheed Martin high-power hybrid 
satellite with C-band, Ku-band and S-band transponders. JCSAT-9 will be 
located at 132 degrees East Longitude.

Broadcast coverage:

Horizons-1 (the KU side of Galaxy 13) @ 127 degrees West, transponder 17 
Lower Ku band (12031 Mhz Horizontal) DVB, SR: 13.021

Test signals start at 6:45 p.m. EDT.
Broadcast starts at 7:20 p.m. EDT.
