Being delayed many times since Aug 2005 , including a worker strike,
another attempt to launch a Delta IV rocket with the GOES-N payload, is
set for Wednesday evening (5-24) from SLC-37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force
Station, Florida.

Launch window opens at 6:11 p.m. EDT extending to 7:11 p.m. EDT.

Spacecraft Seperation happens at 4 hours and 21 minutes after launch.

GOES-N is the next series of Geostationary Operational Environmental
Satellites, it will be a vital contributor to weather, solar and space
operations, and science. Once in orbit GOES-N will be renamed GOES-13.

*Weather might be a factor as the forecast at launch time is not favorable.
