Bob;
You'll probably get many opinions on your questions. Since you are
receiving CBS NEWSPATH, I'll assume you have a motorized Ku Dish, and
a mpeg-2 receiver with "power/blind scan" capability.

Try AMC5 at 79 West between 4-7Pm and 9-11 ET for in-the-field DSNG backhauls.

Here are a couple of handy websites:

http://absat.abcnewsone.tv/?q=node
http://www.newspath.cbs.com/index.html

For motorsports backhauls, there is only one place, my favorite website::

http://www.gofastmotorsports.com/

Here is another popular site for "how to" questions;

http://www.geo-orbit.org/

Good Luck!

Jeff

  Subject: [TVRO] Two Questions from a "New Guy"

  Hello All,

  My first question is what satellite has the most domestic news
  backhals? I have been sitting on T6/ku "CBS Newspath" but I haven't
  found many backhalls from the field.

  My second question is where would I look for the
  best/most "Motorsports" back hauls.

  Ok, three questions.... Is there a good book on instaling a C-Band
  antenna system ?

  Thanks all.
