I've been using a Coship CDVB3188A digital FTA receiver since 2002.
Suddenly all I get is the initializing screen with the "DMS
International" logo that comes up whenever the set is turned on. But
this time it will go no farther. It is totally locked up with a readout
of channel 14 and the Lock indicator LED on. If I leave it unplugged for
a time, will the memory volatilize so I can get it working again? Or is
this more likely a fatal condition? If there is no hope, any suggestions
for a replacement? We mainly use it for watching DW-TV on the ancient
BUD, but also have a fixed pizza pan for IA5.
