Thank you kindly for your response..I await a Skyvision catalog and
have downloaded same--how do I know what dish and feedhorn etc are
best to use with a 4DTV receiver? How would I know if a Motorola or
General Instrument receiver are best for me, other then cost? Im not
adverse to a self install but can I assume that such a dish needs to
be ground mounted and what diameter would I best choose? These are a
few of the questions I have as a first time buyer. It also appears
that the hardware for such a system would be about 2000 USD? Is that
about right? Finally, is there a way to combine free to air reception
with pay for viewing packages in one receiver? Is this the right
forum to ask these questions or should I ask them elsewhere? Thanks
again for reading and responding to my query.

is everything you need to install a big dish ( C Band) and a 4DTV
receiver. You will most likely have to install it yourself as I did
but Skyvision has the info and the materials to do it. In my area
there was no one who installs or services the big dish. Living in
CA. you may have better luck finding an installer. Also you might
want to check out NPS (National Programming Service) for packages. It
has been my experience that they are more resonable in package pricing
then some others and they do support the big dish or C Band.
