Tonight (4/09) International Launch Services Proton M/Breeze M rocket 
is scheduled to launch Anik F3 communications satellite for Telesat 
Canada, from Launch Pad 39, Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.

Launch is scheduled for 6:54 p.m. EDT.

Spacecraft Separation is approximately 9 hours and 11 minutes after liftoff.

Anik F3 is a Eurostar E3000 platform, built by EADS Astrium, Toulouse 
France, with 24 active C-band transponders, 32 active Ku-band 
transponders and 2 active Ka-band channels for Internet-based services
throughout North America and will supplement services now carried on 
Anik F2.
Anik F3 will be located at 118.7 degrees West longitude.

Satellite Broadcast coverage:

Galaxy-26 (Telstar 6) at 93°W, transponder 11 C-Band (3920 V) analog

Test signals begin about 6 p.m. EDT.
Broadcast starts about 6:25 p.m. EDT.

For those in Europe, Middle East:
New Skies NSS-7 22.0°W, transponder WHL4/EUH3 channel 1, Ku-band, 
downlink 11098.9 horizontal, symbol rate 6.1113, digital PAL

Test signals start at 2200 GMT
Broadcast starts at 2225 GMT.
