I'm using a Traxis DBS-3500, with an old Sierra III doing the dish moving
(7 1/2 ft. True Focus), polarity control & LNB power. I use a Sony VL-600
learning remote to control both. Takes a bit of button pushing to scan
around but the overall setup is very inexpensive & apparently the Traxis is
the best at blind scanning. The dish is a bit small for C-band but with
the more powerful satellites in place now the only problem is
adjacent-satellite interference, which I only seem to have a bit of on AMC-7.
