Need advice. Please suggest way(s) to convert a currently active solid 8' C band dish to receive both C & Ku bands. Background: Retired w/time, not money. Experienced enough to do own installation/setup. Interests: Legal FTA, emphasis on national & international news, in-depth features, maybe entertainment. HD not important. Current installation: Fortec "Lifetime Classic NA" digital FTA receiver & Toshiba TRX-1820 analog receiver. Big Dish originally installed @ 1995. Original C band LNA (yes, you read that right) replaced w/17degree C band LNB. 30" Ku dish added & fixed on 97.0 W for all those channels there. 18" cast-off Direct TV dish added & fixed on 119.0 W for NASA channel. All dishes cabled to DiSEqC switch. Big dish is the only movable dish. I'd like to be able to sweep the Ku band with the movable dish, just as I do for C band. Currently adjust mechanical C band H/V & skew via stand alone controller. C band dish mover also via stand alone box. I may get around to rewiring to the Toshiba which should be able to handle those functions. Location: Western North Carolina, USA. Alternative suggestions greatly appreciated, especially ones that do not include much $$. RAK
