Wednesday night (9-05) International Launch Services Proton M/Breeze M 
rocket  is scheduled to launch JCSAT-11 communications satellite for 
JSAT Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, from Launch Pad 39, Baikonur Cosmodrome, 
Kazakhstan.

Launch is scheduled for 6:43 p.m. EDT.

Spacecraft Separation is approximately 6 hours and 56 minutes after liftoff

JCSAT-11 a A2100 AX platform, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space 
Systems, Newtown, Penn is a C-band & Ku Band Communications Satellite 
with 12 active C-band transponders and 30 active Ku-band transponders. 
JCSAT-11 will serve as a backup satellite for the JSAT fleet. It will 
provide coverage over Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, Oceania and Hawaii.

Satellite Broadcast coverage:

Galaxy-26 (Telstar 6) at 93°W, transponder 9 C-Band (3880 V) analog

Test signals begin about 6 p.m. EDT.
Broadcast starts about 6:20 p.m. EDT.

For those in Europe, Middle East:
New Skies NSS-7 22.0°W, transponder NAV6/EUH6 channel 1, Ku-band, 
downlink 11534.65 horizontal, symbol rate 2.460, digital PAL

Test signals start at 2200 GMT.
Broadcast starts at 2220 GMT.
