Spacecraft Separation is approximately 6 hours and 56 minutes after liftoff JCSAT-11 a A2100 AX platform, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems, Newtown, Penn is a C-band & Ku Band Communications Satellite with 12 active C-band transponders and 30 active Ku-band transponders. JCSAT-11 will serve as a backup satellite for the JSAT fleet. It will provide coverage over Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, Oceania and Hawaii.
