I just upgraded the firmware in my 3500 & noticed a couple of things: -When I press "list", I now get a small satellite list instead of the usual channel list. I can't find any settings in the menu to get the list button to display the channel list. Is this behavior part of the "upgrade"? I can get a channel list by pressing the "OK" button, but using the arrow buttons only moves a cursor up & down the list - I have to press OK again to actually change the channel. Not as convenient as the former channel list.
-The new AliEditor (060603B) has some bugs. After doing a few blind scans, I tried transferring the memory into AliEditor, doing a few edits, then sending it back into the 3500. After cycling power the 3500 came up with PAL video out! Fortunately my eye was good enough to track the rolling menu long enough to get back to the menu to change it back to NTSC. In addition, all the AC3 channels lost their AC3 data, reverting to "no audio". Bob
