Liftoff is targeted for 6:02 a.m. EDT. This will be the inaugural launch of an Atlas 5 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base, delayed many times over the past couple years and recently by the concerns of the debris from the missle hit and destruction of NROL-21 that failed after launch from Vandenberg in December of 2006.
