I don't believe 18" or 20" stands a chance. Minimum is probably 30" or 31", but I'd go for at least 36" to better shield against rain fade. Any Primestar dish should do what you want. As long as you're only looking for FSS Ku, a better suggestion if you have an unused RG6 cable in the ribbon from dish to house is a C/Ku feed and LNB on your big dish.
