Tonight (10-24) a Delta II rocket (7420 configuration) is scheduled to 
launch the COSMO-3 satellite for the Italian Space Agency from SLC-2W, 
Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

Launch attempt is scheduled 10:28 p.m. EDT.

Satellite separation is scheduled for 58 minutes after launch.

COSMO-3 (Constellation of Small Satellites for Mediterranean basin 
Observation), built by Thales Alenia Space Italia for the Italian Space 
Agency and the Italian Ministry of Defence, consists of four 
medium-sized satellites designed to offer both civilian and military use 
of an Earth-watching X-band Syntetic Aperture Radar instrument.

AMC-16 @ 85°W Transponder 22 Ku (12140 H)

Audio: Channel 1 English; Channel 2 Italian

Test signal starts around at 9:45 p.m. EDT.

Coverage is expected to start about 10:10 p.m. EDT.
