I like http://www.satbeams.com/. I find it is more user-friendly than lyngsat.com since it allows filters to be set up which, in my case, allow me to only see FTA and Ku-band programming. I can quickly scan across satellites of interest to see my available programming. It also shows dish sizes required. It's a useful resource. Now I think I will stay away from the roof. Instead, I will mount a Ku dish myself on my solid balcony. The 2nd-floor balcony can be accessed easily, "sees" east through southwest with some trees, and the dish could be moved by me as necessary. I did it this way on my own using a 60cm dish years ago in Japan and orientation wasn't hard at all using no tools other than my TV receiver. Murray --- In [email protected], "Richard A.
