Hi all,
I am using the dd command to copy an ISO image to USB and it is taking
approx. 24min to copy the 722MB of Karmic Koala beta at 521KB/s
When it takes hardly a minute copying the image directly to the USB
when mounted, why so slow when unmounted using dd?
Just wondering if there is any way to speed up this copying
I tried changing the bs (block size) parameter, but no effect
Any ideas?
