Hi Ganesh,

Firstly I would like to ask you if its being done on the same network...If
its not then the ubuntu server will need port forwarding on the ubuntu
network after which you will need a vnc (virtual network computing) client
for windows and then enable remote desktop on the ubuntu gnome.

To enable remote desktop you can go to system - preferences - remote desktop
(in gnome), enable it and use any vnc client to connect to your ubuntu
machine.

Also please remember that if its on a different network then, you have to
find out what port vnc is on (look up in google)
and forward it and then it'll work
