[twincling] Help --- Auto snapshot feature in VLC media player or other media software

Hello twinclings,

I want to take snapshots of a video automatically within  a given interval
say 10 sec.VLC supports manual snapshot option.Is there any way to do it
automatically using VLC media player? or is there any other tool to do this
task??

Could any one suggest me.
