1.  Boot from a LIVE cd / DVD of KNOPPIX.
2.  Mount your HDD
3.  Find C:\windows\system32\cpwmon2k.dll.  It will look like 
/media/sda1/windows\system32\cpwmon2k.dll
4.  Simply delete by "rm" command
5.  I have deleted several "Access Denied" things from my Windows XP HDD
6.  Make sure VISTA format is readable in KNOPPIX

Login Linux and open that partition, check weather there any unknown .exe files 
and delete those.
