[twincling] to enable wi-fi in my lappi

hi friends,
                i recently installed linux mint9 into my dell laptop.I
cannot access wireless network i.e., we have a wi-fi in our campus. so
access to internet is done through wi-fi. please help me how to enable wi-fi
in my system.
