It is not clear what exactly is needed. By Googling one can get a varied information on the subject. Matlab has a number of functions for this. As long as there is a linear relationship between input and desired output Artificial Neural Networks can be tried. I have implemented one for Video processing (MyPlugins <http://www.avisynth.org/vcmohan>). In Seismic exploration data processing and interpretation Artificial Neural Networks are used. mohan
