Hi, The windows bootloader(NTLDR) can detect only windows operating systems whereas GRUB can detect more operating systems other than Linux i.e, Windows also.So its always prefered to install windows first and Fedora next.
While installing fedora you have a screen for boot loader options, where you are required to provide the information. Here the Windows is under Other option. You can edit this "other" to Windows, so that you will not confused. If you want windows to boot by default ,you need to check the option here on this screen.By default fedora is checked. When you installed and rebooted the system, you will get fedora screen with "Press any key in 5 seconds" and the time running out..Here press any key and you will get an other screen in which you havel two options i.e, Fedora and Other .Select Other for windows and press "Enter".You are into Windows boot loader now.You will see windows running. Note:When you install Windows after Linux, the bootloader of windows will overwrite the MasterBootRecord(MBR) .As windows is unable to detect other operating systems other than windows,Linux will not be detected and shown. If you instaled windows after installing Fedora, then you need not install the whole fedora again.Instead install only the GRUB which will overwrite the MBR. Here is the link to know how to install GRUB: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/ref-guide/s1-grub-installing.html If you have any more queries ,let me know.
