Hi Naveen: I guess you are referring to VCD format. If you are using kmplayer / mplayer, then the command is 'mplayer vcd://1' Sometimes you will note that player freezes/crashes after buffering. If that is so, you can try starting with track 2. The command then would be 'mplayer vcd://2' Interestingly, this URL like approach extends to DVD as well. To play first chapter, you type the command, 'mplayer dvd://1' For more details and hacks, Abrar is the right person. thanks Saifi.
