Earlier I had loaded Windows XP and Fedora 5 as dual OS on the same
drive and worked well.

I wanted Fedora on a separate drive.

Two hard disc (both 40 GB), primary master and slave were installed,

Windows XP is on the primary master.

Installed Fedora 6 on the slave drive following the installation
procedure

During installation, two drives were exhibited /dev/hda and /dev/hdb
(hda – primary and hdb slave)

Opted for hdb for loading Fedora 6

After rebooting, GRUB is not displaying and Windows XP opens on the
primary master drive. Unable to open Fedora 6

Checked disk management and found partition C and D in the primary
master and F partition in the slave disk (38 GB Free)

How to solve this problem?
