Hi Ravi:

Here are the results.

Win2003 Server Enterprise Edn running on IBM ThinkCentre
with Intel Pentium P4 3.2GHz with EM64T with two logical CPUs
and two NIC cards (Intel Pro 100/1000 Gigabit and 3COM 10/100).

The installation of PuppyLinux 2.14 on VPC2007 was ok.

Both the cards were successfully detected and configured !

I think that the specific card in your case,
has some issues with device probe and attach, during installation.

Here is one possible approach (not sure if it will work).
. Power off the machine. Remove the power cable.
. Remove the CMOS batter for 15 sec and replace it.
. Physically reattach the NIC card, but keep the RJ-45 unplugged.
. Power on the machine and access CMOS screen
. Set your computer to 'Non Plug n Play OS'
 . Disable Wake on LAN
 . Reboot the system
 . Start VPC2007.
. Try installing the Puppy Linux 2.14 again.

Hopefully this would work !

In case you decide to try this out, please share your observations.

thanks
Saifi.
