[twincling] Installing Linux on Sony VAIO Laptop Model VGN-C25G

Hi Friends,
   
  I bought new Sony VAIO Laptop Model# VGN-C25G which has Windows Vista  Home 
Premium OS preloaded.When I am trying to install the linux(REDHAT) by inserting 
the bootable CD into it, it is not allowing me to install it says no hard 
drives detected. Is this caused by New Windows Vista or is that something I am 
really missing while the installation procedure. Please help me out in this 
regard.
