When i run the yast2 online software upgrade option, the programs asks for OpenSuSe CD. Can anybody tell me why the cd is reqd for online update program ? cheers Ashish Hi Ashish, Ideally it shouldn't ask for the SuSE installation DVD again but when it makes some changes to the existing package it may need the DVD. I too had this problem so I removed the DVD from the Installation sources. It now gets everything from the web. Hope it helps, -- Satish Vellanki
