Hi all: We all know that Linux kernel development started in 1991. We also use one or more Linux distributions on our machines.
One of the KDE member has developed a graphical view of the evolution of the various Linux distributions plotted against time. Take a look at the time line at http://kde-files.org/CONTENT/content-files/44218-linuxdistrotimeline-7.2.png The main line shows the primary distro and the branches indicate forks on that.
