Hi,

Probably i cannot answer all your questions.

But i can answer some related to perl6(pugs)

perl 6 is the complete new language which has no resemblence to perl 5 which
is written in haskell by audrey tang

You can go through these url's to know more about it

Especially on pugscode.org you can see on left hand side a section called
slides, in that you can see a presentation given by Audrey tang( intro to
pugs ) which will brief the features about pugs and its features.
