Platform Engineers: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. Skill set Domain expertise in Telecom Platform Software, Operating System and Infrastructure Software. Technical Skills Extensive "C" language skills - Hands on debugging skills using GDB Knowledge on Linux (kernel / drivers / journaling file systems). Working knowledge on L2 (VLAN technology) and programming of Broadcom / Marvel Switch sets (DESIRABLE) Hands on Linux shell scripting / sed / awk Test Engineer Position: Shall have 3 - 6 Yrs experience with hands-on Unix/Linux/ RTOS Operating Systems. Shall have core expertise in Linux/Unix Kernel and thorough understanding about Operating Systems Prinicples. Shall have hands-on with L2/L3 IP Switches, and required to be thorough in Networking knowledge. Shall have be able to Generate Automation & Regression Test suites with minimal guidance in Linux/Unix Environments. Strong Scripting Experience (Perl, Expect, TCL/TK, Python etc... ) and Programming expertise with "C" is must. Shall have experience in deriving test cases by understanding the SRS, Functional and Design Specs. Experience with Cluster Environment or Embedded Experience is an added advantage.
