Hi folks,

I just encountered this article written on SiliconIndia published by
Confederation of Indian Industry.

Excerpts:
"The study, released here Friday, said the state would offer about 4.5
million skilled and highly skilled jobs and 3-3.5 million unskilled
jobs."
"
The study revealed that of the total engineering graduates and diploma
holders passing out from the state's institutions every year, over 40
percent remained unemployed even after two years of graduation.

The reasons for "unemployability" of students included disconnect
between academic curricula and industry requirements, resulting in
deficiencies in specific functional skills, besides lack of practical
training, market orientation and soft skills."

40% is a very big margin, especially while we have so many jobs waiting for us
after graduation.

In fact one aim of TWINCLING Society is to fill this gap between
education and industry. So let us not stay silent on this sharing
platform.
