Hello everybody,
My name is Shahid Ahmed, currently in the final year B.Tech (CSE) from
JNTU University Hyderabad. I am new to the TWINCLING Society.
I have a little experience using RedHat Linux Fedora Core, but i found
it difficult when comming to the association of file types (file
formats),software installations and mounting of disks.
Whenever i installed a specific software, i dont understand from where
to run it, i.e. i could not find the installed files ("program files")
of a particular software.
Please suggest me the appropriate Linux OS which has good support for
the association of file types and also, which is easy to learn.
Another doubt: How can I access windows (NTFS/FAT) drives through Linux
OS ?
I would be pleased if you can clear my doubts. Presently, my semester
exams are ahead, once i complete my exams, i will try to actively
participate in the twincling activities.Recently i have created my own
blog which contains tutorials, information on Java programming language
and web 2.0 please visit my blog and leave comments, suggest me how to
improve my blog further.
My blog URL is: www.javabastion.blogspot.com
Thanking you all,
Shahid Ahmed.
