Hi Shriphani: Wiki is best known for the notion of editing easily. Wiki spam is one of the reasons why people are considering using ACL or ACL group based models, so that IP addresses from which spam is originating can be handled easily. Reviewing and managing libelous cotent and reviewing normal content requires a large set of active volunteers, so that quality is maintained. A good example is MediaWiki. Collaborative writing embedded with blogs, images, gallery etc. is another interesting approach. This requires a flexible content management system. An excellent example is Drupal ! thanks Saifi.
