[twincling] about using the MAKE command

Hello,
i have recently installed REDHAT onto my PC.
The "make" command does'nt seem to be workin in this particular kernel 
but works perfectly fine in open suse 10.3.
Can some one help me out?  (it's about how to use the make command in 
kernel programming.)
