Hi Namita:

CISCO is the patent holder for Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FoE)
mapping.

Interestingly enough, there is a site that talks about
the Open Source software stack.

Take a look at http://www.fcoe.com/

I also saw an posting by Robert Love of Open-FCoE.org
http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/11/27/227

May be you may want to take a look at the current driver implementation

Pull it from
git://open-fcoe.org/openfc/open-fcoe.git
and work with Linux 2.6.24 code base.

thanks
Saifi.
