Hey,

"twinclingers"(If it sounds cool i invented it, if not i heard it some
where) . Let me introduce my self. I am suman karthik co-founder of spinaxys
solutions and a lazy student on an extended sabbatical from my masters at
IIITH.
First off let me tell you guys how glad i am to finally find a geek
community in the twin cities that is thriving(Thanks to nanda for pointing
it out). Believe me we it was a pleasant surprise, and i still can't
understand how this community managed to fly under the radar. Getting to the
point....

We are organizing *Barcamp hyderabad
5*<http://barcamp.org/BarCampHyderabad5>at the google campus on feb
16th. We would love the twinclingers to be
actively involved as both speakers and attendees.
The sessions and tracks I and poorna(poorna shashank) are coordinating and
pushing are "*opensource and emerging technologies*"
This is an opportunity that brings together an active tech and blog
community and will provide greater visibility to twincling as a community
and getting the word out on contributing to opensource initiatives.
We come across many students and techies that are interested about
contributing to opensource but have many misconceptions about
- How to go about it
- Thinking involved means coding
- How to build a good patch........ and many more.
we can hopefully have some interesting talks from twinclingers about thier
thoughts, views and experiences.
We are also very interested in people who want to talk about "*ruby*"
(beyond rails) and bootstrap a small ruby community with topics like..
- Ruby why we should care
- Jruby
- YARV
- Dynamic programming with ruby..........

Actually you can speak or "rally around people" for any topic really falling
into the broad area of "*opensource and emerging technologies*". There are
other tracks as well, in order to suggest topics, participate or attend the
barcamp please visit http://barcamp.org/BarCampHyderanad5 and edit the wiki
by adding your name and suggestions for topics you would like to speak about
or see. Anyone interested in giving a talk(pretty informal) please contact
me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or reply to this mail whatever you are
comfortable with.

BTW did i forget to mention the most important thing. *FREE FOOOOOOOOD.*
