Its better to go first with window. if your system have partitions like C, D, E, F, then install window in primary parttion C.
then install linux in different partition.and make window as default . this is safe. If you install both in the C then may possiblity of priority conflict. if you install linux first then window may not installed due to proirity problem, if any how you able to install window it will lead to grub over-written, you will find only window in the grub. So make sure that install window in lower partition and linux in higher partition. It is not mandatory but you should follow for better result.
