Hi All I using a linux client and a Win2k3 Server
The Server has configured for ADS, DNS and DHCP server. IP address is 200.1.1.1/24 and domain name is intranet.com Server hostname is SUN, Linux Client name is host1 Now I am connecting a Linux Host in to the Network, I am getting the IPaddress from the DHCP server. and it is getting the Nameserver's IPaddress and domain name cat /etc/resolv.conf search intranet.com nameserver 200.1.1.1 but I am not seeing any record's in Forward lookup zone or reverse lookup zone in the DNS server. What should I do to update my server Thanks NaveenC
