Hi pardu,
            i had the same problem i was after saifi for help he even spoke to 
customer care guy.reliance was not supporting when i was using it.good thing to 
do would be every time you manually configure the ip address as static.only the 
reliance ip address will be changing as it is dynamic rest of the setting would 
remain same like subnet mask,default gateway and dns server's addresses.once 
the lease period of that ip is over connect to windows get the ip.flush the old 
ip in linux and configure the new one.........i know it is tedious but since i 
wanted to browse internet in linux i was ok with it.let us also look forward to 
see a better a idea from friend here...............

I have relience  leased line for internet 1mbps. He kept one router

for us. he given ips and gate way . now i am using that ips in windows

systems , i am getting internet, but where as

i am not getting internet in Redhat Enterprises  5. but i am able ping

gateway, and i am able to ping  dns  ip's also, but  internet is not

getting. i stopped iptables  even i have problem.



please help me.
