Assuming this is for an enterprise environment; suggest enterprise grade components. Strongly suggest to *resist* the temptation to go cheap - you will get what you pay for. You need to do your home work w.r.t: 1. disk space usage/user 2. mem. usage/user 3. avg. bandwidth/user I just spec'd out a system for a client (15 users) - all server grade components: 2GB ECC RAM (Kingston), Xeon 3220 cpu, 3*250GB Seagate Barracuda (SATA II) software raid, Intel 3200AH mobo w/ 2*Gigabit NIC and the price came to around 40K w/ 1 year onsite warranty. This is from a local Intel channel partner. Name brands came to around 55K. My personal opinion, for 100 thin clients on one single 40K server may not cut it. -- Arun Khan
