Hi sandeep , ....

i really don understand why reinstalling grub would solve a kernel
panic problem .....

please be more clear when you are stating something , like the exact
scenario , .... kernel panic itself  can occur due to many reasons ,
and i am sure the above method won't help in most cases .....

what is stated above is a method to reinstall grub from the
installation disk provided , just is case u have overwritten the grub
or there as a faulty grub installation !

please clarify ....
