Which drive are you trying to delete in Windows?
When you say that your keyboard doesn't work while installing ubuntu, are you
referring to the problem with the 3 locks, or are you saying that your keyboard
is not allowing you to enter any input?
And about those 3 locks. By default, they are disabled at the startup. You
can enable them once you log in to ubuntu and change the keyboard options.
