It appears that the device scan rate for wireless networks matches the connection drop rate. One way to confirm this is to define a default wireless connection (access point) in Fiberlink app and turn off scanning. Usually for most customers, using Cisco VPN client, two profiles are configured: 1. wired access profile 2. wireless access profile As an interesting aside, sometime, i did an experiment wherein i used Tata Indicom Plug-2-Surf CDMA connection as underlying transport and then use Cisco VPN client. The only way one could connect was to use the 'wireless access profile'. Let me know how it goes. thanks Saifi.
