Hi Mukund: DHCP option needs to be configured if you also configured PPoE on the BSNL router. My post discussed this configuration. Your mail seems to suggest that you are trying to configure PPoE on the OpenSuSe 11 system, which is also fine. In that case, you would need to setup DSL connection with the following attributes: . mode : PPoE . dns : bsnl name servers . routing : gateway info provided by bsnl . connect on demand . select custom providers, add userid and password Apply the settings through YaST. Now if you try to drive traffic, ping www.twincling.org it should work. Let us know how it goes. thanks Saifi.
