Hi everybody,
I have a desktop (but no monitor) and a laptop. I have installed openSuSE 11
on both of them and they are on a network.
The ip address for my laptop is 10.5.50.188 and for the desktop is
10.5.50.209
Is it possible to start a remote X session for desktop and map it to my
laptop. There are 7 terminal (Ctrl + Alt + F1 - F7). Is there a way that I
can have my laptop's X on Ctrl + Alt + F7 and the desktop's on the Ctrl +
Alt + F6 on the same laptop screen.
I tried X -query 10.5.50.209 from the laptop but it showed the following
error:
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
and start again.
