I installed tomcat 6 using YAST (openSUSE 11.1). Here is what I get when I try to run it
linux-sv4d:/home/st # /etc/init.d/tomcat6 start Starting Tomcat (/usr/share/tomcat6)lock file found but no process running for pid 25716, continuing done linux-sv4d:/home/st # /etc/init.d/tomcat6 status Checking for Tomcat (/usr/share/tomcat6) dead linux-sv4d:/home/st # /etc/init.d/tomcat6 stop Shutting down Tomcat (/usr/share/tomcat6) failed tail /var/log/messages Jan 16 22:53:25 linux-sv4d su: (to tomcat) root on none Jan 16 22:53:35 linux-sv4d su: (to tomcat) root on none Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
