Hi sunil, Try "$sudo apt-get install build-essential", with the cdrom in. It will automatically install the gcc, g++ compilers.
If you still getting the error, then the cdrom may be corrupted, please post additional details like, how you tried to install and the errors/warnings while installing. Alternatively, you can install from internet. Try configuring the repositories to download from internet, and install as said earlier. please update your status here. thanks, uma..
