Follow these simple steps n let me to know if u r facing any issue w.r.t. this
1. Download and install the filezilla server in ur PC 2. go to start>Programms>FileZilla server and click on Filezilla server interface. 3. In the file zilla server interface click on the button below edit to open the user accounts dialog box. 4. In the general tab click on the Add button and add a user of ur choice which will be the username to access the FTP server.Not necessary to change anything in the group section. 5. Click on the "Enable Account" and "password" check box and type password which will be the password for that particular user while accessing the FTP server. 6. Now click on the Shared folders tab. in the shared folders tab section click on "ADD" button to create a home directory for that user. 7. Once you have selected the home directory the same will be visible in the shared folder section. click on that and allow the file permissions you want to give for that user. If you are a basic user you can give all permissions. 8. Click OK after selecting the home directory....n you r done with the configuration of your server. 9. Now for the cross checking purpose you should be able to see the following messages in the filezilla interface screen. "Connecting to server... Connected, waiting for authentication Logged on" 10. Last but not the list Check that in your PC firewall is not turned on and there are no other FTP softwares running in ur PC. for eg IIS FTP server..
