Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a wireless router, but since i've never used one, i had few
queries:

1. Can it support atleast 9-10 simultaneous connections? (I believe
theoretically it's 255, but i get a feeling the practical limit will be less
than 1/10th of it).

2. Affordable ( < Rs.2300). I found few on ebay which were priced at around
9000. I don't really want those.

3. The most important one.... I have Tata Indicom Broadband. The problem with
it is that it provides static IP. Now the router(wired) that tata provided does
not have an option for static ip. So i've to statically assign an ip address
and dns in my PC and because of that even if i use multiple connections (it's
got two output ports), i'll get net in only one (as the same ip address cannot
be used twice). So i'd like a wireless router in which we can assign a static
ip and dns, so that any wireless (or wired) device connecting to the router
will be provided an ip by DHCP and will have access to internet without
statically assigning an ip in the device.

4. Atleast 54Mbps (how much would a 108Mbps cost?)

So if anyone knows a wireless router that satisfies all the above requirements,
could you please reply with the company's name along with model number?

Thanks,
Siddharth Pal
