Thanks for the reply !
Yeah as u said speech recognition and image processing (Graphics ) have been
the hottest topics these days
and also not to mention Data Engineering :) which is too much of DBMS I guess .
But my concern is , since I have experience working in IT with Embedded
Systems with Linux OS , doing my masters in Data Engineering or the above
mentioned things  will be like putting my leg altogether into a fresh pond
:(
I just want to map the things with the experience I already have and with
the things I want to master on . Be it anything related to performance or
High Computing or anything of that sort :)
